Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Rampton Hospital is seeking a Control Centre Assistant to join the Security Department. You will work in Reception and Control Room, operate access systems, monitor CCTV and radio, and help maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The role requires GCSEs (A–D) with IT knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexibly across day, night and weekends.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (A-D) with IT knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a secure hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-facing service and information to patients, staff, contractors and visitors.
• Carry out reception and security duties in the Entry Building, including operating access systems.
• Search staff, patients, contractors and visitors as required by the Team Leader.
• Operate CCTV, digital radio and other security systems; monitor security equipment.
• Carry out perimeter checks and report findings to Duty Team Leader.
