Hawk 3 Talent Solutions in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, invites applications for a Contract & Compliance Officer. The role is full-time, office based, 37.5 hours per week, reporting to Head of Finance, and replaces an upcoming departure.

You will own the contract lifecycle, ensure compliance with UK and European regulations, conduct audits, manage risks, and collaborate with internal teams to strengthen policies and data protection, including GDPR.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full contract lifecycle from inception to renewal or termination.
• Review contracts to ensure legal, regulatory and commercial compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal, financial and compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate contract records and monitor key dates.
• Monitor UK and European legislation relevant to the business.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and support regulatory activities.
• Produce compliance reports and provide updates to senior management.
• Act as a key contact for regulatory and external bodies where required.
• Develop and update internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure supplier and partner compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support GDPR compliance and data protection initiatives.
• Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audits, and contracts.
• Collaborate with departments across the organisation to drive best practice and continuous improvement.

Contract & Compliance Officer

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum

Full-Time Office Based| 37.5 Hours per Week | Permanent role - Reporting to: Head of Finance

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract & Compliance Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is a replacement position due to an upcoming departure of an employee who is relocating, creating an immediate opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role within the Finance team.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in contract management, compliance, risk management, and regulatory oversight. You will take ownership of the contract lifecycle whilst ensuring the organisation remains compliant with relevant UK and European regulations.

The Role

As Contract & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing contracts from inception through to renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify risks, maintain robust processes, and support continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full contract lifecycle.
• Review and amend contracts to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal, financial, and compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate contract records and monitor key contract dates.

About You

• Previous experience within a compliance, legal, contracts, or governance-based role.
• Contract management experience, including reviewing and monitoring agreements.
• Experience conducting compliance audits and reporting findings.
• Strong risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of integrity and professionalism.
• Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
• Project management experience would be advantageous.
• Industry knowledge within a regulated environment would be beneficial.
