Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a Contract & Compliance Officer for an immediate vacancy in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The role is office-based, full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a salary of circa £40,000 per annum, reporting to the Head of Finance.

You will own the contract lifecycle, ensure regulatory compliance across UK and European frameworks, conduct internal audits, and develop robust policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance, legal, contracts or governance role.
• Contract review and monitoring experience.
• Experience conducting compliance audits and reporting findings.
• Strong risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle from inception to renewal or termination.
• Review and amend contracts to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and commercial requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal, financial and compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate contract records and monitor key contract dates.
• Monitor UK and European legislation relevant to the business.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and support regulatory compliance activities.
• Produce compliance reports and provide updates to senior management.
• Develop and update internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure supplier and partner compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support GDPR compliance and data protection initiatives.
• Collaborate with departments across the organisation to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
