Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, is recruiting a Contract & Compliance Officer to join the Finance team. The role focuses on managing the contract lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing risk and governance across the business.

You will review and amend contracts, conduct internal audits, monitor UK and EU legislation, maintain records, and support GDPR/data protection initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, legal, contracts or governance roles.
• Contract management experience including reviewing and monitoring agreements.
• Experience conducting audits and reporting findings.

Responsibilities

Contract & Compliance Officer

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ST1

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum

Full-Time Office Based 37.5 Hours per Week Permanent role - Reporting to: Head of Finance

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract & Compliance Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is a replacement position due to an upcoming departure of an employee who is relocating, creating an immediate opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role within the Finance team.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in contract management, compliance, risk management, and regulatory oversight. You will take ownership of the contract lifecycle whilst ensuring the organisation remains compliant with relevant UK and European regulations.

The Role

As Contract & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing contracts from inception through to renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify risks, maintain robust processes, and support continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with:

• Previous experience within a compliance, legal, contracts, or governance-based role.
• Contract management experience, including reviewing and monitoring agreements.
• Experience conducting compliance audits and reporting findings.
• Strong risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of integrity and professionalism.
• Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
• Project management experience would be advantageous.
• Industry knowledge within a regulated environment would be beneficial.
