Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a Contract & Compliance Officer for an established organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This full-time, office-based role supports the Finance team and offers a 37.5-hour week with a salary around £40,000 per annum.

You will own the contract lifecycle, review agreements for legal and regulatory compliance, monitor legislation, conduct internal audits, and build robust policies in a regulated UK/EU environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, legal, contracts, or governance roles.
• Contract management experience including reviewing and monitoring agreements.
• Experience conducting compliance audits and reporting findings.
• Strong risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of integrity and professionalism.
• Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
• Project management experience would be advantageous.
• Industry knowledge in regulated environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full contract lifecycle.
• Review and amend contracts to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal, financial, and compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate contract records and monitor key contract dates.
• Monitor UK and European legislation relevant to the business.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and support regulatory compliance activities.
• Produce compliance reports and provide updates to senior management.
• Act as a key contact for regulatory and external bodies where required.
• Develop and update internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure supplier and partner compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support GDPR compliance and data protection initiatives.
• Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audits, and contracts.
• Collaborate with departments across the organisation to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
