Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment agency seeks a Multi-skilled Engineer contractor in the Perth area of Scotland for an initial 3-6 month contract. The candidate must have experience in FMCG or manufacturing, with strong mechanical understanding and a passion for maintenance and reliability. Responsibilities include maintaining plant performance, conducting root cause analyses, and training production staff. Full training is provided to develop skills further, with a pay rate of £38 per hour outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Background in food, FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• Good experience with planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Interest to develop in the engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance plant and equipment performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis in the factory.
• Plan and complete allocated preventive maintenance tasks.
• Train production staff.
