Job summary

ECG Facilities Services in Bristol is seeking an experienced Contracts/Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned contracts, ensuring profitability and compliance, and to act as the main liaison for clients.

You will attend client meetings, manage invoicing and debt, work with internal teams on budgets, health & safety audits, and prepare monthly reports. A background in facilities management and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role is essential.

Location: Bristol

Hours: 40 hours per week

• Act as the main liaison for clients and their representatives.
• Oversee daily operations of assigned contracts, ensuring profitability and compliance.
• Attend client meetings and maintain strong, professional relationships.

• Conduct audits covering documentation, maintenance schedules, health & safety, and financial performance.
• Provide monthly reports covering financials, audits, H&S issues, and client feedback.
• Collaborate with internal departments on invoicing, labour control, and subcontractor management.
• Assist in preparing proposals and quotations for clients.
• Ensure all client communications are professional and aligned with company policies.
• To effectively carryout or delegate the points as discussed and issues raised by the client on a timeous basis and ensure communication of all client issues is passed to the appropriate personnel/departments.
• To set up regular meetings with the client based upon the frequency established in relation to the clients KPI’s and/or service levels, client request or Contract expectation.
• To regularly review the profitability of their contracts dependant on contract expected turnover as established by the Commercial Team.
• Manage aged debt by working with clients and internal teams to resolve outstanding payments and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
