Job summary

Realm Recruit is seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to establish and grow a bespoke practice in Manchester. You will manage a purely contentious probate caseload and play a key role in shaping a new specialist firm, with an employed salary and the opportunity for an ownership stake.

The role offers the autonomy to develop business relationships, drive marketing, and influence strategic direction while benefiting from a secure salary and potential equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in contentious probate.
• Extensive experience managing contentious probate matters independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of contentious probate litigation.
• Ability to run cases without ongoing technical supervision.
• Excellent client care, negotiation and litigation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Entrepreneurial, driven and self-motivated approach.
• Genuine ambition to establish and grow a legal practice.
• Willingness to lead business development and marketing activity.
• Existing relationships with IFAs or professional referrers.
• Experience generating work through professional networks.
• Existing client following (not required).
