Job summary

Executive Network Legal Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking a Senior Contentious Probate Lawyer / Partner to lead and grow a specialist Contentious Trusts & Probate offering. The role involves managing a varied, high-value caseload, generating new business, mentoring the CTP team, and collaborating with the Private Client and Litigation groups.

Hybrid working is available for the right candidate and there is an attractive remuneration package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' PQE in Contentious Trusts & Probate.
• Proven track record in high-value and complex cases.
• Established network with ability to generate own work.
• Experience leading and developing lawyers.
• Excellent client relationships and business development skills.
• Ambition and commercial acumen to grow a specialist team.
• Ability to lead a sub-team and shape a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex and high-value contentious probate matters.
• Generate your own work and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client and professional relationships.
• Lead, supervise and mentor the existing CTP team.
• Develop the size and profile of the practice.
• Collaborate with Private Client team to maximise referrals.
• Work with the wider Litigation team on disputes.
• Establish and implement the strategic direction of the CTP practice.
