Job summary

LoveSign Hub Ltd in the UK seeks a Content Creator to be the face and creative force behind our social media video content. You will plan, film, present and edit videos that educate, inform and entertain audiences, from BSL tips to events, campaigns, and behind-the-scenes content.

The role suits someone confident on camera, with an eye for what works on social platforms and a commitment to accessibility. Remote work is primary, with occasional travel to London and events.

Responsibilities

• Create and present video content in BSL for LoveSign Hub's social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube
• Edit videos from start to finish, including cutting, pacing, captions, subtitles, graphics and music
• Plan content ideas and contribute to a regular content calendar in line with our goals and campaigns
• Write clear, engaging captions and on-screen text in English
• Make sure all content is accessible, with accurate captions and subtitles
• Stay on top of social media trends, formats and platform features, and adapt them for a Deaf audience
• Film content at events, workshops and with colleagues or partners where needed
• Work closely with the marketing team and wider staff to bring campaigns and announcements to life
• Keep our content consistent with LoveSign Hub's brand, tone and values

LoveSign Hub is a UK-based organisation specialising in British Sign Language education, interpreter services and Deaf Awareness training. We help organisations become more accessible and inclusive, and we help people connect across language barriers.

The role

As our Content Creator, you'll be the face and creative force behind LoveSign Hub's social media video content. You'll plan, film, present and edit videos that teach, inform and entertain, from short BSL tips and Deaf Awareness content to behind-the-scenes, event and campaign videos. This role suits someone who is confident on camera, has a good eye for what works on social media, and knows how to turn raw footage into polished, engaging content.
