Job summary

LoveSign Hub Ltd. is recruiting an Employment Support Advisor to work with Deaf candidates from initial contact through to employment. The role focuses on helping candidates understand their strengths, build confidence, and prepare compelling applications while navigating barriers to work.

You will provide one-to-one support in BSL, coordinate with partners, and help with referrals, data records, and reporting. This is a largely remote role with occasional travel to London.

Qualifications

• Must be Deaf and able to communicate in BSL.
• BSL Level 6 or native signer required.
• Strong written English and CV/application support skills.
• Knowledge of Access to Work and workplace adjustments.
• Experience supporting people in employment or careers guidance.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and employment barriers.
• Organised with ability to manage a caseload and keep records.
• Experience with funded employability services is a plus.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Deaf candidates and provide one-to-one employment support in BSL.
• Help candidates identify goals, skills, experience and support needs with action plans.
• Assist with CVs, cover letters, job applications and interview prep.
• Identify suitable roles, trainings and career opportunities.
• Provide guidance on Access to Work and reasonable adjustments.
• Match candidates with opportunities and prep for introductions to employers.
• Offer follow-up and in-work support to ensure stability.
• Coordinate referrals to additional services as needed.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and progress notes.
