About LoveSign Hub
LoveSign Hub is a UK-based organisation specialising in British Sign Language education, interpreter services and Deaf Awareness training. We help organisations become more accessible and inclusive, and we help people connect across language barriers.
We're a growing team with big plans, and we're looking for someone who can help more organisations discover what we do and why it matters.
The role
As an Employment Support Advisor, you'll work directly with Deaf candidates and support them from their first conversation with us through to finding work and settling into a new role. - Get to know each candidate's goals, skills, experience and support needs, and agree a clear action plan
- Support candidates with CVs, cover letters, job applications and interview preparation
- Help candidates identify suitable roles, training and career opportunities
- Identify barriers to employment and help find practical solutions, including guidance on Access to Work and reasonable adjustments
- Match candidates with opportunities sourced by our partnerships team, and prepare them for introductions to employers
- Provide follow-up and in-work support to help candidates settle in and stay in work
- Coordinate referrals to other services or organisations where candidates need additional support
- Keep accurate candidate records, progress notes and outcomes, in line with data protection requirements
- Support evidence collection and reporting for funding and service performance
