Aviva is looking for a Consumer Contract Litigator to join our Contracts team in Bristol or Leeds with a 50% hybrid schedule. You’ll manage consumer contract claims funded through legal expenses insurance and provide practical legal guidance to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of consumer contract claims funded through legal expenses insurance.

• Recover costs, maintain accurate case records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work within Aviva’s DLG Legal Services framework as part of the Contracts team.

This is a great job for someone who has experience in contract litigation and enjoys helping clients navigate legal disputes. This role would suit a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent legal professional who is confident managing a caseload, providing practical legal advice, and delivering positive customer outcomes. Experience of handling consumer contract disputes and small claims litigation would be valuable.

A bit about the job:

As a Consumer Contract Litigator, you’ll join our Contracts team, managing a varied caseload of consumer contract claims funded through legal expenses insurance. You’ll provide clear, practical legal advice, guide clients through the claims process, and proactively progress cases to resolution while ensuring fair customer outcomes. You’ll also play a key role in recovering costs, maintaining accurate case records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both the customer experience and the performance of the department.

• Salary circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
