Job summary

Pickfords Move Management Ltd is seeking an Office Based Sales Consultant to manage customer enquiries, tailor moving requirements into quotations and close profitable sales. You will work across telephone, video and digital channels to identify needs, build confidence in Pickfords and secure business while achieving revenue and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-focused roles.
• Comfortable managing customers remotely via telephone and digital channels.
• Proven ability to understand customer requirements and close sales.
• Experience in removals/relocation/logistics is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to new enquiries from web, telephone, live chat and lead-generation channels.
• Conduct customer surveys by telephone, video call and using information provided through self surveys.
• Understand each customer’s requirements, priorities and buying criteria.
• Build rapport and confidently explain the benefits of choosing Pickfords.
• Prepare accurate move costings and commercially competitive quotations.
• Use effective questioning, negotiation and influencing skills to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Make informed pricing decisions, considering move date, capacity, competition, customer confidence and required margin.
• Proactively follow up quotations and opportunities through to a clear conclusion.
• Identify opportunities for insurance and other relevant products and services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records within our CRM system.
• Work closely with Operations and other teams to ensure we deliver the service promised to our customers.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to continually improve the office based sales process and customer experience.
