Job summary

Anglo Pacific International Limited, a leading UK removals and shipping specialist, is seeking an Office Based Sales Consultant to manage enquiries, quotations and sales through phone, video and digital channels.

You will own customer cases from enquiry to close, build rapport, prepare competitive quotations, and work with Operations to fulfil promises while hitting revenue and margin targets. Experience in sales or customer service is ideal; eligible to work in the UK.

Office Based Sales Consultant

We are now looking for a motivated and commercially focused Office Based Sales Consultant to join our team.

This is a consultative sales role where you will manage customer enquiries, understand individual moving and shipping requirements, recommend the right solution and convert opportunities into profitable business

The Role

You will take ownership of customers from their initial enquiry through to quotation and sales conclusion, providing a professional, responsive and personalised experience.

Working across telephone, video and digital channels, you will identify what matters most to each customer, build confidence in Anglo Pacific and use your sales skills to secure the business while achieving revenue and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to new enquiries from web, telephone, live chat and lead generation channels.
• Conduct customer surveys by telephone, video call and using information provided through self surveys.
• Understand each customer’s requirements, priorities and buying criteria.
• Build rapport and confidently explain the benefits of choosing Anglo Pacific.
• Prepare accurate move costings and commercially competitive quotations.
• Use effective questioning, negotiation and influencing skills to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Make informed pricing decisions, considering move date, capacity, competition, customer confidence and required margin.
• Proactively follow up quotations and opportunities through to a clear conclusion.
• Identify opportunities for insurance and other relevant products and services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records within our CRM system.
• Work closely with Operations and other teams to ensure we deliver the service promised to our customers.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to continually improve the office based sales process and customer experience.

What Success Looks Like

You Will Be Expected To

• Achieve individual monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Deliver agreed sales productivity and conversion targets.
• Protect and maximise margin while remaining competitive.
• Submit quotations within agreed timescales.
• Quote a minimum of 70% of enquiries received.
• Maintain consistent and effective follow up of sales opportunities.
• Participate in regular sales performance and development reviews.

What We Are Looking For

You will ideally have previous experience in a sales or customer focused environment and be comfortable managing customers remotely through telephone and digital channels.

You Will Also Have

• Strong consultative selling skills.
• Excellent communication, questioning and listening skills.
• Confidence in negotiating, influencing and asking for the business.
• A proactive approach to following up opportunities and closing sales.
• Good commercial awareness and an understanding of revenue and margin.

• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A positive, flexible and collaborative approach.

Experience within removals, relocation, property, logistics or another service led sales environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
