Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Construction Manager to support the development and delivery of construction readiness activities for RR SMR projects. You will coordinate across multiple workstreams, manage risks, and drive improvements while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams, with a focus on achieving milestones, cost efficiency and predictable delivery in a matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related qualification.
• Experience on large-scale, complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of UK/European construction regulations and standards.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Construction Managers and Programme Managers in developing and delivering construction readiness activities across RR SMR projects.
• Coordinate activities across workstreams, maintain construction risks and actions, support reporting and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, design and internal teams to ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with defining requirements for civils supply chain partners and participate in procurement.
• Work to ensure accurate cost estimation and apply a repeatable, modular build approach across geographies.
