Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is recruiting a Senior Manager, Reactor Build to lead the establishment and continuous improvement of the operational capability for delivering Reactor Build activities across RR SMR programmes. The role focuses on developing operating models, processes, standards and organisational capability to enable safe, efficient and scalable execution.

The candidate will translate product designs into actionable operational solutions, lead the creation and growth of a specialist Reactor

Qualifications

• Significant experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, commissioning, operational delivery, industrialisation or major programme execution environments.
• Track record of leading operational teams in regulated and safety‑critical environments.
• Development of operational methods, procedures, tooling strategies, standards and execution plans for complex industrial activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the operating model and processes to deliver Reactor Build across RR SMR programmes.
• Translate designs into executable, safe and scalable operational solutions for future projects.
• Establish capabilities, governance and standards for a specialist Reactor Build organisation.
