Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support safe working practices across major construction projects. Based on site in the Midlands, you will work with site management, engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with UK legislation and company policies.

The role requires NEBOSH certification, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and improving safety standards, with a focus on RAMS review, audits and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or building services.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and reviewing RAMS.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with site teams, subcontractors and management.
• A proactive approach to identifying risks and improving safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and health and safety compliance checks.
• Review RAMS and monitor safe systems of work.
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to site managers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across all project teams.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
