Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Midlands-based team with UK site travel. The role is office-based with regular site visits and offers both full-time and part-time options. Salary is dependent on experience.

You will work hands-on with project teams, visiting live sites, reviewing RAMS, and advising on safety practices. The ideal candidate holds a NEBOSH certificate, UK driving licence, and knowledge of CDM 2015 and ISO 45001.

Qualifications

Health & Safety Coordinator

SF Partners are recruiting for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join a growing Midlands based contractor operating across commercial construction and specialist projects throughout the UK.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting out to sites, working with project teams and helping people put safe working practices into place. You'll work closely with Directors, Project Managers, employees and subcontractors, supporting H&S across several live projects.

What you'll be doing:

• Visiting sites to carry out inspections, audits and H&S reviews
• Reviewing RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Advising project teams on site risks and practical ways to manage them
• Monitoring subcontractor compliance and following up on any issues
• Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings
• Investigating incidents and near misses and making sure actions are completed
• Maintaining H&S records, policies, accreditations and project documentation
• Supporting ISO 45001 and the continued development of the company's H&S approach

What we're looking for:

• You'll have experience in a site focused H&S role within construction or a related operational environment. You'll be comfortable visiting live sites, reviewing RAMS and speaking with everyone from Directors to site teams and subcontractors.
• A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification, a good working knowledge of UK H&S requirements and a full UK driving licence are essential.
• Experience within construction, M&E, building services, infrastructure or other project-based environments would be useful.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015, ISO 45001 and construction industry accreditations would be an advantage.
• This could suit someone currently working as a Health & Safety Coordinator, H&S Advisor or Site Safety Advisor who wants a varied, hands-on role with the opportunity to work closely with project teams and have a genuine influence on how safety is managed as the business grows.
