Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a construction-focused, home-based role covering Bristol & Cardiff. The role involves supporting site teams and subcontractors, promoting safety culture, and ensuring RAMS/SSOW quality across projects.

With a hybrid setup, you will travel from home to sites four days a week and work one day remotely. A NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate is essential, with a NEBOSH Diploma as a plus; a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate is required.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience within construction, civil engineering or related industries.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support site teams and subcontractors with compliance through regular engagement and building effective relationships.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture.
• Write and review RAMS and SSOWs.
• Drive continuous improvement across projects.
• Deliver toolbox talks and lead safety initiatives.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and accident investigations.
