Job summary

Skilled Careers seeks an experienced Document Controller for a Steynning-based facade remediation contractor. This office-based role includes occasional travel to project sites and requires meticulous document control across multiple projects.

You will manage drawing registers, revision histories and transmittal records, ensuring correct, latest documents are available to project teams and subcontractors. Proficiency with Viewpoint 4Projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Document Controller in construction.
• Hands-on experience with Viewpoint 4Projects.
• Strong revision management and document control procedures.
• Experience managing drawings, registers and project information across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation through Viewpoint 4Projects, ensuring information is uploaded, recorded, distributed and controlled.
• Maintain document registers, drawing registers, revision histories and transmittal records across multiple projects.
• Ensure latest revisions of drawings, specifications and technical documents are available to stakeholders.
• Upload, issue and track drawings, submissions, specifications, reports, risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitor document review and approval workflows and chase outstanding submissions.
