Job summary

Confidential in Worthing, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a main contractor handling refurbishment and new build projects. The role focuses on managing documentation across multiple schemes and ensuring access for internal teams and external stakeholders.

You will work with Viewpoint For Projects to maintain drawing registers, control revisions, and support commercial, operations, estimating and marketing teams with document management and PQQs.

Qualifications

• Experience using Viewpoint For Projects for drawing registers and document control.
• Understanding revision/status codes and workflows in Viewpoint.
• Knowledge of ISO19650 and information management standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple schemes' document control with a team.
• Create and maintain drawing registers for each project.
• Log, track and distribute incoming/revised drawings accurately.
• Issue documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain records of schedules, specs and technical documents.
• Support commercial and operations with document management and filing.
• Assist estimating with tender docs and registers.
• Assist marketing with PQQ submissions and registers.
• Assist in prep and collation of operating/maintenance manuals.
• Guide site teams on using the document management system.
• Ensure documents stored correctly in the CDE/database.
• Oversee archiving of projects per retention policies.
• Arrange secure disposal/shredding of confidential documents.
