Job summary

GH Resourcing is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for our client’s construction projects in Kilmarnock, Scotland. The role oversees contracts from planning through to completion, coordinating site teams and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will manage multiple contracts, monitor costs, resources and safety, and provide regular project updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction contracts (Essential).
• Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, programmes and resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple contracts from start to completion, within the construction sector.
• Plan and monitor projects, ensuring works are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate site managers, supervisors, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and overall commercial performance.
• Ensure materials, labour and equipment are allocated effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, main contractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet specified quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site procedures and company policies.
• Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to minimise delays and additional costs.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings as required.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and ensure accurate project documentation.
