Job summary

Contract Scotland is partnering with a well-established construction contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager. You will oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, leading project and site teams, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts and project delivery.
• Excellent commercial and financial awareness.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• Relevant construction qualifications.
• SMSTS and appropriate health & safety qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme and performance.
• Provide leadership and support to Project and Site Management teams.
• Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout projects.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, challenges and opportunities.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Attend site and project meetings as required.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Support the successful handover and completion of projects.
