Job summary

GH Resourcing is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager in Kilmarnock to oversee contracts from planning through to handover, coordinating site teams and ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to required quality and safety standards.

You will manage multiple contracts in the construction sector, maintain client relationships, monitor costs and maintain accurate project documentation, with travel across Scotland and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction contracts (Essential).
• Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills.
• The ability to manage budgets, costs, programmes and resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to sites across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple contracts from start to completion in the construction sector.
• Plan and monitor projects, ensuring works are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate site managers, supervisors, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and overall commercial performance.
• Ensure materials, labour and equipment are allocated effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, main contractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site procedures and company policies.
• Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to minimise delays and additional costs.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings as required.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and ensure accurate project documentation.
