CHAP Group is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead multiple live contracts within our Construction division in Scotland. You will own day-to-day delivery, manage site teams and work with the commercial function to deliver safely, on programme and to budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years' experience as a Contracts Manager or senior site manager.
• Experience delivering construction contracts safely, on time, to budget and to specification.
• Sound knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts and commercial principles.
• Strong knowledge of CDM, health and safety legislation and quality assurance.
• Confident communicator capable of managing site teams, subcontractors and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of one or more live contracts, managing site teams and collaborating with our commercial function.
• Deliver each contract safely, on programme, to budget and to specification.
• Lead and support site managers and site teams on your contracts.
• Drive health, safety and environmental performance across contracts.
• Manage subcontractor and supply chain performance, procurement and cost control.
• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain.
• Contribute to pre-construction and tender input when necessary.
