Reason Talent Advisory is partnering with a growing construction business to appoint a Senior Contracts Manager in Scotland. You will oversee multiple contracts, align operational delivery with client expectations and lead performance reviews with senior stakeholders.

The role requires extensive contracts/operational leadership experience, strong client-facing skills and the ability to coach managers while ensuring high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant Contracts Management, Operations Management or comparable senior delivery experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple contracts, managers and operational teams.
• A practical understanding of planned and reactive works.
• Strong client-facing experience and confidence managing senior stakeholders.
• The ability to lead, coach and constructively challenge managers.
• Strong organisation, commercial awareness and sound judgement.
• Clear communication and a practical approach to resolving problems.
• A commitment to relationships, accountability and high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery across multiple contracts and operational workstreams.
• Act as the link between senior leadership, Operations Managers, Supervisors, clients and delivery teams.
• Build trusted client relationships and lead contract and performance meetings.
• Manage client expectations, escalations and service issues.
• Support and challenge operational managers to deliver agreed priorities.
• Monitor performance, service levels, quality, risk and operational issues.
• Provide clear updates and practical recommendations to senior leadership.
• Improve communication, reporting, workflow and accountability.
• Support contract retention and long-term client relationships.
