Copperfield Recruitment Ltd is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to secure new business and nurture long-term client relationships within the construction sector. The role covers London, the M25 and Home Counties, combining new business development with growth of existing accounts.

You will identify opportunities, target prospects, attend meetings, and work with internal teams to prepare quotations, progressing opportunities to close.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling into the construction sector.
• Proven track record of developing new business.
• Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience selling construction products or related services would be relevant.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Proactively target prospective customers and generate leads.
• Attend client meetings and visit customers.
• Develop relationships with contractors and other commercial clients.
• Qualify enquiries and opportunities and prepare quotations/proposals.
• Follow up quotations and progress opportunities and negotiate to close.
