Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead the Configuration Management System (CMS) across product and programme lifecycles, ensuring traceability and compliance with QMS and regulatory standards. You will align CMS with group processes and drive Change Control Board governance.

Based in the UK, the role requires CMII certification, CATIA V5/PLM experience, and a strong aviation background. You will collaborate with engineering, programme teams and suppliers to optimise CMS

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
CMII Level 6 Certification is required/desirable.
Proficient with PLM systems such as CATIA V5 and SmarTeam.

Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the CMS across product and programme lifecycles.
Own and optimise engineering change control and CCB governance.
Drive standardisation of configuration management practices with group processes.
Produce CMS reports and enable data-driven decision making.
Support Windchill PLM deployment and optimisation.
