Job summary

Safran Seats seeks a Configuration Manager to lead the CMS, ensuring governance of product configurations across lifecycles. You will align CMS with QMS, information systems, and regulatory standards while driving change control and reporting.

In this role, you will standardise configuration practices, maintain CM data, and collaborate with Change and Programme teams to embed control throughout delivery. Strong PLM and CAD experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with strong engineering background.
• CMII Level 6 certified, with knowledge of configuration management principles.
• Experience with PLM tools and CAD software (CATIA V5/SmarTeam) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the CMS to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process with clear responsibilities and CCBs.
• Drive standardisation of configuration and change practices in line with group processes.
