Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Conference & Banqueting Porter to support guest services in our Conference & Banqueting and Food & Beverage areas. You will be part of a friendly team, ensuring high standards and flexible hours to meet event requirements.

Full training through Dalata Academy, opportunities for internal promotion, and employee perks are part of the package. Prior hotel experience is welcome but not mandatory, and weekday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with customers.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Be a strong team player.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Week day availability.
• Previous hotel experience is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Offer the highest level of guest service in Conference & Banqueting and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring standards are met at all times.
• Work as part of a team, be aware of colleagues and their needs, and be flexible with hours.
• Promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
• Ensure C&B areas have safe working practices and promptly tend to spills or hazards.
• Have in-depth knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures, especially room setups.
