Job summary

Located in Glasgow city centre, the Glasgow Marriott Hotel is seeking a Concierge & Guest Experience Host who will greet guests warmly, offer local recommendations and ensure a memorable stay from arrival to departure.

You’ll need a warm personality, excellent communication and a proactive approach to handle requests, coordinate bookings and create genuinely personal experiences while upholding Marriott standards, with a flexible weekend schedule and a collaborative team spirit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Concierge, Guest Services or Front Office.
• Strong knowledge of Glasgow or eagerness to become a local expert.
• Warm, confident communication style.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive, independent worker who also thrives in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a confident arrival experience.
• Share personalised recommendations for Glasgow restaurants, attractions and events.
• Handle guest requests with energy and initiative—including transport and reservations.
• Make interactions personal, professional and effortless.
• Keep the lobby and Concierge area welcoming and organized.
• Work with Front Office to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Resolve challenges quickly, knowing when to escalate.
• Build relationships with guests and colleagues to create memorable moments.
• Share knowledge with new team members and support a positive culture.
• Represent the hotel with pride and genuine Scottish hospitality.
