Job summary

Glasgow Marriott Hotel in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Concierge & Guest Experience Host to greet guests warmly and help create memorable stays. You’ll be the welcoming face and the last to bid guests farewell, offering personalised tips, bookings, transport, and celebration arrangements.

You will represent Glasgow’s hospitality with pride, working with Front Office and hotel teams to ensure a flawless journey. A passion for people and flexible weekend availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Concierge, Guest Services, Front Office, Reception or another customer-focused hospitality or tourism role.
• Strong knowledge of Glasgow and its surroundings or enthusiasm to become a local expert quickly.
• Warm, confident communication style with guests.
• Excellent organisation, calm and positive under pressure.
• Proactive approach to identifying and taking on tasks.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Flexible across weekends and varying shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, confident and genuinely welcoming arrival experience for every guest.
• Be a knowledgeable ambassador for Glasgow with personalised recommendations.
• Handle guest requests with energy and initiative—from transport to celebrations and last-minute asks.
• Make every interaction feel personal, professional and effortless for all guests.
• Keep the lobby and Concierge area polished, organised and welcoming.
• Work closely with Front Office and hotel teams to ensure a seamless journey.
• Use initiative to resolve challenges quickly and positively.
• Build relationships with guests and colleagues to create memorable moments.
• Share knowledge with new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
