Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a part-time receptionist to greet visitors, manage the lobby, and deliver a premium service experience on site at T2, Birmingham. You will be the face of the facilities team, handling queries, directing visitors, and supporting meeting room setup while maintaining a professional and polished appearance.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years' of comparable experience in high end hotels, members clubs, airlines, corporate workplaces, or tourism and hospitality.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with core competencies around delivering service excellence.
• SIA certification (training can be provided if required).
• Immaculate grooming, personal presentation and sense of style.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Teams and Chrome.
• Competent using visitor and space management tools (Condeco, ProxyClick).
• Ability to manage large volumes of queries across multiple platforms.
• Core skills: attention to detail, critical thinking, decisiveness, adaptability, initiative, safety awareness, customer service, prioritisation, personal organisation.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide support in lobby areas with a 5* service touch.
• Be the go-to person for queries and maintain a highly visible, helpful presence.
• Maintain immaculate grooming and approachable behaviour at all times.
• Deliver a concierge-style experience for visitors and clients.
• Protect customers, property, and assets while representing the client brand.
• Manage reception operations and events bookings.
• Log work orders and coordinate with facilities to ensure swift resolutions.
• Provide IT/AV desk support and information on local amenities when needed.
