Job summary

STEM Learning is seeking a Computing & Digital Specialist to shape high-quality professional learning across the National Centre for Computing Education and related programmes. You will connect subject expertise, research and sector intelligence to influence educational practice.

You will help position STEM Learning as a leading voice in computing, AI and digital education, driving growth, innovation and collaboration with partners and education professionals.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in secondary and/or post-16 computing and digital education.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in computing, education or related discipline.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering professional learning for teachers.
• Experience developing evidence-informed educational resources and translating research into practice.
• Experience building partnerships with external organisations and delivery partners.
• Experience managing complex projects within large-scale or national programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist expertise in computing and digital education across STEM Learning.
• Contribute to strategic direction, programme development and educational impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and deliver high-quality professional learning.

Education

Degree-level qualification in computing or related field
