Job summary

Corbridge Middle School invites applications for a Computing Lead to shape the computing curriculum for Years 5–8 and, where possible, teach Maths. A QTS and a passion for inspiring pupils are essential. You will lead colleagues and promote engaging use of technology in learning.

You will run coding clubs, robotics or esports, and contribute to CPD while fostering an inclusive, high-achievement culture. The school provides a modern IT lab and supportive team.

Qualifications

• QTS with a strong background in computing or computer science.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a dynamic computing curriculum across Years 5 through 8, covering computer science, digital literacy, and information technology.
• Champion online safety, digital citizenship, and cross-curricular tech integration throughout the school.
• Lead and support colleagues in developing their confidence with educational technology.
• Run engaging extracurricular opportunities, such as coding clubs, robotics, or esports.
