STEM Learning, via the National Centre for Computing Education, seeks a dedicated Secondary Computing and Digital Subject Specialist to shape high-quality professional learning for teachers and education professionals across the UK.

The role is remote, guiding curriculum development, translating research into practice, and coordinating with partners to extend reach and impact in computing and digital education.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in secondary and/or post-16 computing education.
• Degree-level qualification in computing or related discipline.
• Experience designing and delivering professional learning for teachers.
• Experience translating research into practice and developing resources.
• Experience building partnerships with stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic development of NCCE and STEM Learning programmes.
• Design and deliver high-quality professional learning for teachers and education professionals.
• Translate research into evidence-informed practice and develop resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to extend reach and impact.
