Job summary

Montem Academy in Slough is seeking a Computing Teacher & Digital Lead to deliver high-quality computing teaching across the school and to lead the development of the Computing curriculum and digital learning.

The successful candidate will support staff, monitor standards, promote online safety and digital literacy, and provide dedicated leadership time to drive technology-enabled teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Excellent Computing teaching track record with positive pupil outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of the Computing curriculum and high-quality provision.
• Ability to lead, develop and monitor use of digital devices across the academy.
• Passion for digital learning and effective use of technology in teaching.
• Understanding of online safety and responsible technology use.
• Ability to support, motivate and inspire staff in Computing and digital learning.
• Keeps up to date with developments in Computing education and research.
• Capable of evaluating provision and using assessment information to drive priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality computing teaching across the school.
• Lead the development of the Computing curriculum and digital learning.
• Support staff, monitor standards and drive improvements.
• Utilise current research and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Provide dedicated leadership time for the Digital Lead role.
