Job summary

Rolls-Royce Bristol, within the Composite Technology Facility, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to deliver assembly processes for composite components from blades to structures. Based onsite in Filton, you will develop technical packages, manage cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements toward zero defects, supporting UltraFan initiatives.

The role requires an Engineering degree or equivalent, experience with composite bonding, and familiarity with aerospace management systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with composite processes and adhesive bonding.
• Ability to drive TRL maturity and process readiness.
• Familiarity with aerospace management systems and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assembly processes for composite components in a manufacturing setting.
• Develop Technical Package (Equipment Specs, TI's, PFMEAs, tooling, HSE docs).
• Identify opportunities for process improvement using SPC (Ppk/Cpk).
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver results in CTF Bristol.
