Rolls-Royce in Bristol is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Composite Technology Facility. The role focuses on developing manufacturing methods for composite fan blades and containment parts, working closely with suppliers on-site at Filton.

You will support the UltraFan programme, drive zero-defect supply chains, and help implement improvements across processes and tooling within the CTF Bristol site.

Qualifications

• Engineering or relevant discipline degree and experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the role.
• Experience with supplier management within an aerospace context.
• Knowledge of TRL and manufacturing engineering toolset.
• Ability to apply analytical thinking to technical problems and balance decisions.
• Strong teamwork and influencing skills.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with CTF supply chain and review progress with suppliers.
• Resolve technical issues in supply chain and lead problem resolution across suppliers.
• Oversee supplier approvals via SABRe, release docs via ARIS, and approve special processes.
• Drive supply-chain processes toward Zero Defects during UltraFan industrialization.
• Identify opportunities for new or improved processes and share best practices.
• Manage hardware delivered to CTF until consumed in manufacturing, resolving non-conformance at goods receipt.
