Cadillac Formula 1® Team is seeking a Senior Composite Design Engineer to shape the design of composite components and tooling, contributing to advanced aerostructures and manufacturing information.

You will lead CAD development in CATIA 3DX, guide graduates, and collaborate with manufacturers to implement design specifications while meeting tight deadlines.

Experience in Formula 1 or top-tier motorsport and a degree in engineering are essential; strong communication and IT skills are expected.

  • Provide guidance and supervision to Graduate Designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.

Requirements
What do we need from you?
  • Previous experience in Formula 1® or Top-Tier motorsport is essential
  • Proven experience in a composite design role, including the design of bodywork, wings, bumpers, and interior components within the motorsport industry, is required
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX, with a proven track record of producing accurate and efficient designs
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of composite component design, composite materials and their properties; knowledge or experience of composites manufacture
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads, prioritizing in a time pressured environment and manage personal deadlines
  • Clear and concise communication
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently, while meeting challenging deadlines
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
