The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to own critical components from concept through to manufacture, testing and trackside validation in a high‑performance environment.
You will lead the design of high‑performance systems, including suspension, braking, and cooling, and develop CAD concepts in CATIA while collaborating with aerodynamics, vehicle performance and manufacturing teams to maximise on‑track performance and reliability.
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to play a key role in the development of race‑winning mechanical systems for our Formula 1 programme. This role is suited to an engineer who combines technical excellence with a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach, and who is motivated by delivering performance through precision and quality. You will take ownership of critical components and systems from concept through to manufacture, testing, and trackside validation delivering robust, right‑first‑time solutions within a high‑performance, precision‑driven environment.
Success in this role depends not only on your engineering capability, but on your ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve the best overall car performance and delivering successfully to the challenging key milestones. Working closely with aerodynamics, vehicle performance, and manufacturing teams, you will help translate engineering excellence into on‑track results ensuring every design reflects the highest standards of quality, reliability, and integration.
