Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team, based at Silverstone, seeks a Composite Designer to shape composite assemblies, tooling and production information, collaborating with manufacturers to ensure precise implementation. You will lead and mentor Graduate Designers to deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.

Applicants should bring extensive motorsport experience, CATIA 3DX proficiency, and a degree in Engineering, with strong communication and time-management skills for a fast-paced, inclusive team

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Formula 1 or Top-Tier motorsport is essential.
• Proven experience in a composite design role, including bodywork, wings, bumpers, and interior components.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX, with a track record of accurate designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop layouts and schemes for composite assemblies, ensuring optimal design and functionality.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings of composite components.
• Create CAD models and drawings of composite tooling and manufacturing information.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure design specs are implemented effectively.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Graduate Designers, fostering growth and quality.
