Job summary

Southern Housing Group is seeking a Compliance Officer for an initial 3–6 month temporary contract, with a view to extension or permanent placement for the right candidate. The role is based at Building 800, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, ME9 8GU, with 3 days remote and 2 days in the office.

You will book appointments, update calendars, provide administrative support to Compliance Managers, monitor records in Apex and other databases, and help manage compliance contracts while liaising with

• Experience in Asset Management or Compliance within a social housing environment.
• Understanding of compliance areas and KPI-driven performance.
• Experience managing and analysing large data sets with focus on data quality.

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Southern Housing Group who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Compliance Officer this role will be based at: Building 800, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8GU, 3 days remote, 2 days in the office.

The right candidate will:

• Book appointments, update calendars, arrange travel and accommodation as required.
• Provide administrative support to the Compliance Managers.
• Provide project support to the team and lead on key administrative projects as required.
• Support the management and monitoring of relevant compliance contracts.
• Assist others in the department to ensure efficient and effective administrative practices.
• Deal with telephone calls, emails, CRM’s and written correspondence as necessary.
• Liaison with members of staff in other departments and external contacts.
• Monitor group e-mail inboxes
• Ensure records on Apex and other databases are accurate and up to date.

We require the following:

• Experience of working within Asset Management or Compliance service, especially within a social housing environment.
• Understanding of Compliance areas and requirements on housing organisations. Proven experience of performance-based management through KPI’s in a customer focused environment.
• Experience of managing and analysing large data sets, and ensuring taking responsibility for quality compliance data
