Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a proactive Compliance Manager to lead Hard FM compliance across our regional portfolio. You will ensure statutory, regulatory, contractual, and health & safety compliance is maintained, working with operational teams, senior leadership and customers.

You will review maintenance records, coordinate audits, and drive improvements in compliance governance and reporting, with travel across the South West as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing Hard FM or similar compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella and M&E systems.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections and governance reviews.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional lead and SME for Hard FM compliance.
• Provide compliance reports, risk updates and assurance information.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections and investigations.
• Monitor statutory compliance across: Fire, Gas, Electrical, Asbestos, Legionella, and M&E.
• Review PPM and reactive maintenance records for compliance.
• Identify overdue inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance registers, policies and records.
• Provide technical guidance to operations on regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of compliance systems and reporting.

You'll ensure statutory, regulatory, contractual, and health & safety compliance is maintained across a diverse estate, working closely with operational teams, senior leadership and our customer.

• Review planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance records to ensure compliance and accurate documentation.


• Identify overdue inspections, tests, and maintenance activities, implementing corrective action plans.


• Maintain compliance registers, certification, policies, procedures, and statutory records.


• Provide technical advice and guidance to operational teams on compliance risks and regulatory requirements.


• Support the management of compliance risks and ensure effective mitigation measures are in place.


• Drive continuous improvement across compliance systems, assurance processes, governance, and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in a Compliance Manager, Compliance Officer, Assurance Manager, Technical Compliance, Asset Compliance, Building Services, Engineering Compliance, or Hard FM role.


• Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory compliance within Facilities Management, Property Management, Defence, Infrastructure, Construction, or Engineering environments.


• Understanding of compliance requirements relating to fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella, and M&E systems.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Ability to analyse compliance data, identify trends, and produce reports.


• Strong organisational and planning skills.


• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.


• Experience working on Ministry of Defence (MoD) or other highly regulated contracts.


• HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.


• Membership of a relevant professional body (IWFM, IET, CIBSE, IHEEM or similar).


• Experience managing compliance audits, assurance programmes, and risk management processes.
