Job summary

London & Quadrant Housing Trust is seeking a Complex Works Planner to support the Property & Investment Team in coordinating complex repairs and work orders. You will prioritise high-risk cases, ensure SLA alignment, and maintain accurate records and system notes.

This role requires experience in planning and scheduling within repairs or housing contexts, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication with residents, contractors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, work allocation or operational administration within repairs, maintenance, housing, property services, facilities management, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Understanding of repairs, maintenance and complex works processes, including follow-on works and contractor coordination.
• Ability to manage competing demands, urgent cases, deadlines and changing priorities with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and scheduling of Complex Works Maintenance Technicians undertaking complex repairs across the L&Q estate.
• Ensure residents receive an excellent service and maintenance issues are resolved in line with SLAs.
• Manage technicians' diaries and schedules to ensure timely completion with right-first-time approach.
• Coordinate and arrange follow-on works to ensure an efficient and seamless service.
• Accurately log data and case notes on internal systems to support communication and handovers.
• Prioritise and schedule emergency repairs, maintaining strong time-management.
• Escalate issues or risks to line manager as appropriate and share information with stakeholders.
