Job summary

Cardo Group in the UK is seeking a Repairs Planner to join our team in Slough. You will oversee scheduling, resource planning and logistical coordination for repairs, maintenance and planned works in social housing properties.

Responsibilities emphasize ensuring jobs are allocated, appointments kept, and communications with residents are proactive and courteous, while maintaining accurate records and KPIs. The role requires strong organisation and IT skills within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, or contract administration.
• Strong understanding of responsive repairs processes and contractor management.
• Excellent organizational skills for high-volume workload.
• Confident communicator with residents and teams.
• Proficient with IT systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan day-to-day operatives and subcontractors to allocate jobs.
• Review jobs and feed back into reports, raising risks to management.
• Ensure appointments are met with correct allocation and materials.
• Keep residents updated to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Check and allocate booked jobs ahead of appointments.
• Daily tracking of jobs and PDA usage.
• Review Ops diaries to meet appointments and close with FOWs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies (2 hours).
• Monitor jeopardy and overdue orders and address issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for completion sheets.
• Manage allocations when cancellations occur.
• Coordinate materials and advise engineers.
• Book VO’s/Quoted FOWs with admin input.
• Manage leave, sickness, training, etc.
• Update Dynamics with action notes.
• Collaborate with planning supervisor and others.
