Job summary

L&Q is seeking a Complex Works Planner to join the Property & Investment Team in London or Manchester, supporting complex repairs and coordination. You will prioritise high-risk cases, manage technicians, and drive service quality with a right-first-time mindset.

Hybrid working applies (20%–40% of hours in reporting offices). Salary includes London weighted £34,381 or regional £30,386 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, and managing repairs or maintenance in housing or facilities.
• Understanding of complex works processes, follow-on works, and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing demands and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to update residents and contractors; maintain records.
• Proficient in scheduling, case management, CRM, repairs, and workflow systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to customer service and inclusion considerations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and scheduling of complex works maintenance technicians.
• Ensure residents receive excellent service and adhere to SLAs.
• Manage diaries and schedules to ensure timely completion with right-first-time.
• Coordinate and arrange follow-on works for efficient service.
• Log data and case notes on internal systems for smooth handovers.
• Prioritise and schedule emergency repairs with strong time-management.
• Monitor emails and escalate issues or risks; share information with stakeholders.
