Job summary

Central Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a Support Officer to work in the Camden area for a not-for-profit housing association. You will hold a caseload of clients with complex needs and deliver planned support and key-working sessions.

The role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota covering early and late shifts, temporary for 2-3 months, with pay of £16.38 per hour (£14.62 + £1.76 holiday pay). We value safeguarding, housing-related support, and person-centred approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable adults in social care settings (housing or care).
• Understanding safeguarding responsibilities for adults and children.
• Knowledge of housing-related support and tenancy sustainment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Person-centred, solution-focused approach to support.

Responsibilities

• Case-load up to 10 clients; complete assessments.
• Develop and review tailored support plans using SMART objectives.
• Deliver structured key-working sessions and interventions.
• Support budgeting and tenancy sustainment.
• Assist access to education, training, employment.
• Support benefit applications and housing issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records in IT systems.
• Contribute to housing management tasks (voids, rent monitoring).
