Superior Healthcare is seeking a Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a cheerful young female client with sensory activities and regular outings, including trips to shops, the zoo, and family days out. You will work within a dedicated team to provide compassionate, person-centered care.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months UK-based care experience, be eligible to work in the UK, and commit to paid induction and diploma progression. A strong wellbeing package and pension are offered.

Superior Healthcare are looking for a happy, attentive carer to support our client - a cheerful young female who enjoys all things sensory-based and loves getting out and about regularly, including trips to the shops, visits to the zoo, picnics in the park and family outings.

The client’s health conditions include:

• 4P Syndrome (deletion of chromosome 4)
• Developmental delay
• Diabetes
• Hearing loss
• Assistance with enteral feeding
• Medication administration (Full medication training Will be provided)

Previous experience with these conditions would be beneficial; however, full support and training can be provided within the role.

Shifts

Day shift 8am-8pm. Wake Nights 8pm-8am. Twilight 8am to 2pm or 2pm to 8pm.

Responsibilities

• To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
• To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
• To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
• To be calm, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
• To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months UK based care experience.
